More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12-inch Plush
This licensed Buddy the Elf plush stands out for its ultrasoft material and authentic design, making it ideal for fans of the Elf franchise or collectors seeking a high-quality display piece. Compared to smaller or less detailed options like the Micromallows Holiday Wreath, Buddy offers a more substantial and cuddly presence, perfect for holiday decor or gifting. However, its limited size options and softer build mean it may lack the durability some children need for regular play. It suits those who value character authenticity and plush quality but may not be the best choice for very active kids or those seeking a highly durable toy.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality material for cuddling
- Officially licensed Warner Brothers product
- Part of a popular collectible series
Cons:- Limited size options, only 12 inches
- May be too soft for children needing durable toys
Best for: Collectors and fans of Warner Brothers licensed products who want a display-ready holiday plush.
Not ideal for: Young children seeking a more durable plush for everyday play, as Buddy’s softness may compromise longevity.
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Brand:Jazwares
- Licensed:Warner Brothers
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for fans and collectors wanting a soft, authentic holiday character display.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This holiday-themed Micromallows bouquet offers a charming collection of miniature characters—Laurel, Zumir, and Brooke—that are perfect for festive decorating or small gift exchanges. Its small 2.5-inch size makes it ideal for attaching to stockings or using as table decor, unlike larger plushes like the 14-inch Patton. However, the tiny size limits cuddling potential, and with only three characters included, it may not satisfy fans seeking more variety or larger toys. This set is best for those wanting a cute, portable holiday accent rather than a plush for active play.
Pros:- Cute holiday-themed characters
- Detachable and portable size
- Official Squishmallows product
Cons:- Limited to small size, less cuddly
- Includes only three characters
- Not suitable for young children due to small parts
Best for: Holiday decorators or gift givers looking for small, collectible plush characters for festive setups.
Not ideal for: Children or collectors seeking plush toys suitable for cuddling or larger display pieces, as the Micromallows are too small for comfort and play.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
- Material:Soft plush
Our verdict“This set excels as a portable holiday ornament or small gift, not for cuddling or active play.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This exclusive 4-pack brings together a variety of beloved characters—Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, and Tinsley—each crafted with ultrasoft fabric and detailed with unique bios. Compared to smaller sets like the Micromallows bouquet, this pack offers more plush for cuddling or display, making it suitable for both collectors and children. The downside is the lack of specific size details, which could be a drawback for buyers who prefer precise dimensions or are seeking a uniform size. Its exclusive Amazon availability may also limit access for some shoppers. This set makes sense for those who want a diverse holiday plush collection without buying multiple singles.
Pros:- Includes four unique, themed characters
- Soft and high-quality plush fabric
- Official Jazwares holiday designs
Cons:- Limited to fans of plush collectibles
- No specific size info provided
- Exclusive to Amazon may restrict availability
Best for: Collectible enthusiasts or families seeking a variety of holiday-themed plushes in one bundle.
Not ideal for: Casual shoppers or those wanting larger, more durable plush toys for everyday play, as the size and durability are not specified and may vary.
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
Our verdict“Ideal for collectors or gift buyers wanting a small, varied holiday plush set, not for active play or detailed size preferences.”
Squishmallows 14in Patton the Red Peppermint Cow Plush
Patton, the 14-inch peppermint cow, offers a plush size that balances cuddly comfort with a playful holiday theme. Compared to smaller plushes like Hedda or Buddy, Patton provides a larger, more huggable form suitable for children’s play or holiday display. Its ultrasoft material and detailed bio add to its appeal, but its size limits portability and makes it less ideal for travel or small spaces. The fact that it’s a single plush also means a higher price point per toy, and no exchange options are noted. This pick suits those looking for a larger, festive plush that can serve as a holiday gift or a cozy companion for children.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for cuddling
- Generous 14-inch size for hugging
- Unique character with a fun backstory
Cons:- No exchanges or returns due to final sale policy
- Limited to one character per purchase
Best for: Parents and gift givers wanting a sizable, cuddly holiday plush for children or as a seasonal collectible.
Not ideal for: Shoppers seeking multiple or smaller plush toys, or those wanting a more durable, highly portable option for travel and active use.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Patton the Red Peppermint Cow
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Age Range:Toddler
Our verdict“This plush is best for those seeking a larger, soft holiday gift that’s perfect for cuddling and display.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda, the 12-inch Milk for Santa plush, combines ultrasoft material with a cheerful holiday theme, making it a versatile gift or display piece. Compared to Patton, Hedda offers a similar size but with a different character design, appealing to kids and collectors seeking seasonal decor. The plush’s unique backstory and bio add charm, but its size may not satisfy those wanting larger plushes for active play or those seeking more durability. Limited to Hedda alone, it’s a straightforward choice for holiday gifting, especially for those who prefer a smaller, manageable plush for hugging or display.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Unique character with a fun backstory
- Official licensed product
Cons:- Limited to 12 inches, not for very young children
- Only available in Hedda character
Best for: Kids and collectors looking for a festive, manageable plush that doubles as decor or a cuddly companion.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking larger plush toys for younger children or active play, as Hedda’s size may be less engaging for rougher handling.
- Size:12 inches
- Character:Hedda the Milk for Santa
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Included Components:1 Hedda plush
Our verdict“This plush is a charming, manageable holiday gift perfect for display or hugging, not for active play.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack
This set stands out for its versatility in holiday decorating and gifting, offering four tiny Micromallows featuring beloved characters like Gina the Gingerbread. Compared with larger plush options like the 14-inch Nick the Santa, this 4-pack is more suited for filling small spaces or adding festive accents without overwhelming. The tiny size makes them perfect for holiday ornaments or stocking stuffers, but they may not satisfy those seeking cuddly, huggable plushes. Plus, their small scale limits play for young children who might put small parts in their mouths. Nonetheless, these Micromallows deliver collectible charm in a compact package, ideal for holiday displays or quick gifts.
Pros:- Includes four holiday-themed Micromallows, offering variety
- Official Squishmallows product with collectible appeal
- Compact size fits easily into holiday decor or stockings
Cons:- Limited to small size, less suitable for cuddling or play
- Not ideal for very young children due to small parts
Best for: Holiday decorators and collectors who want small, themed accents for ornaments or table decor.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking larger, plush toys for young children to cuddle and play with extensively.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Sub Brand:Micromallows
- Unit Count:4
- Model Number:SQMM0265
- Age Range Description:Toddler
Our verdict“This set is perfect for those looking to add festive, collectible touches to holiday decorations or gift exchanges.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
This 8-inch Fleur The Yule Log plush makes a charming holiday collectible, with its soft ultrasoft fabric and detailed design. Unlike the smaller Micromallows, Fleur offers a more cuddly experience for fans who want a plush they can hug. While its size is ideal for display or gift-giving, it’s less practical for active play compared to larger options like Nick the Santa in a Hawaiian shirt. Its unique holiday motif and official seal make it appealing for collectors, but some may find the size limiting for everyday cuddling. Compared to the advent calendar, which offers multiple tiny plushes, Fleur provides a single, delightful holiday figure for shelf or bed.
Pros:- Soft, plush material ideal for cuddling
- Unique holiday-themed character with detailed design
- Official product with collectible appeal
Cons:- Limited to one character and 8-inch size
- Primarily a collectible, less suited for active play
Best for: Fans of seasonal plush collectibles who want a festive ornament or display piece.
Not ideal for: Children seeking large, huggable plush toys for daily cuddling or rough play.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Official Product:Yes
Our verdict“Fleur the Yule Log is a charming holiday plush that makes a perfect seasonal collectible for display or gifting.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus in Red Hawaiian Shirt
This 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus plush offers a playful twist on traditional holiday characters with his red Hawaiian shirt, appealing to those who want a larger, more cuddly Santa. Compared to Fleur the Yule Log, Nick provides a bigger, more huggable presence, making it suitable for children and holiday display alike. Its ultrasoft fabric ensures comfort, but its size may be cumbersome for small children or limited spaces. The character’s distinctive look and official seal add a collectible edge, though its holiday-specific theme limits year-round appeal. For buyers seeking a standout holiday plush that doubles as a display piece, Nick offers the right mix of size and charm.
Pros:- Large, cuddly size perfect for hugs
- Unique character with fun holiday design
- High-quality, ultrasoft material
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use due to theme
- Size may be too large for small children or compact spaces
Best for: Families or collectors wanting a sizable, festive plush with a unique holiday character.
Not ideal for: Those wanting a small, portable plush or a toy for active, everyday play.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“Nick the Santa in a Hawaiian shirt is a playful, sizable plush ideal for festive display or cuddling during the holidays.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This 4-pack offers a delightful mix of characters like Ulana the Turkey and Alberta the Maple Latte, making it a versatile choice for seasonal decor or gift-giving. Compared with the Micromallows holiday wreath set, this collection provides larger plushes, which are more suitable for cuddling or display. Its variety of characters appeals to collectors and fans who enjoy themed sets, but the lack of specific size details makes it less clear whether these are ideal for active children or just display. The exclusive Amazon release limits availability, yet the quality and bios add a personal touch. This set makes perfect sense for those looking to build a seasonal plush collection with multiple characters.
Pros:- Includes four distinct characters for variety
- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product with detailed bios
Cons:- Limited size info, making suitability for active play unclear
- Exclusive to Amazon, potentially limiting access
Best for: Seasonal collectors and families wanting a variety of plushes for fall or Thanksgiving decor.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking smaller, budget-friendly holiday items or those wanting only one or two plushes.
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality
- Characters:Ulana, River, Rhett, Alberta
- Exclusive:Amazon
Our verdict“This plush set is ideal for collectors or families wanting a themed, multi-character seasonal display or gift set.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers 24 tiny Micromallows, making it an engaging way to count down to Christmas with characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. Compared to the larger plush options like Nick or Fleur, this calendar emphasizes quantity over size, appealing to collectors who love daily surprises. The small 2.5-inch size means it’s less suitable for active play or cuddling, but it makes an excellent holiday decoration or gift idea. Its limited usability outside the holiday season might reduce its appeal for year-round collectors. Still, for those who enjoy the thrill of a daily unboxing, this calendar provides a festive and collectible experience in a compact format.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed Micromallows
- Great for holiday countdown traditions
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to all collectors
- Limited use outside of the Christmas season
Best for: Families and collectors looking for an interactive holiday countdown or gift to enhance Christmas traditions.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking large, plush toys for everyday cuddling or long-term display outside of holidays.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is perfect for holiday countdown enthusiasts who appreciate daily surprises in a small, collectible format.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This festive 4-pack stands out for offering a variety of characters—Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Santa Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin—making it ideal for holiday gifting and collection. Compared to the single-character options like the Squishmallows Buddy the Elf, this set provides more variety in one package, though it limits options for those seeking larger or more unique plushes. The plush material is ultrasoft, ensuring comfort, but the lack of size details makes it harder to gauge how suitable it is for cuddling or display. Being an official Jazwares product, it guarantees quality, yet its exclusivity to Amazon might restrict availability for some buyers. If you’re looking for a versatile holiday gift or starter collection, this set is a good choice; however, collectors seeking specific characters or larger plushes should consider other options.
Pros:- Includes four festive characters for variety
- Ultrasoft plush material for cuddling
- Official Jazwares product ensuring quality
- Great for holiday gifting and collections
Cons:- Limited to four characters, reducing customization options
- No size specifications provided, making it hard to assess suitability
- Exclusive to Amazon, which may limit availability
Best for: Families looking to gift a charming, multi-character holiday set to kids or collectors starting their collection.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger, single plush characters or those preferring products available outside Amazon exclusives.
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“This set is perfect for those seeking a colorful, multi-character holiday gift, especially for new collectors or families.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
The Holiday Fox 14” Plush offers a high-quality, cuddly option for fans who want a more substantial, singular figure. Unlike the Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack, which emphasizes variety, this plush makes a statement as a standalone piece, perfect for display or extended cuddling. Its ultrasoft material promises comfort, and the unique name and bio lend it collectible appeal, similar to the Squishmallows 14in Patton the Red Peppermint Cow but with a holiday theme. A downside is the limited size and feature information, which might leave buyers unsure about its exact dimensions or how it compares to other larger plushes. This pick suits dedicated collectors or those wanting a special holiday mascot, but less so for buyers seeking multiple characters or a budget-friendly bundle.
Pros:- Large 14-inch size for a substantial feel
- Ultrasoft, high-quality material for comfort
- Unique name and character bio add collectible value
- Official licensed product with holiday theme
Cons:- Limited details on size and features make comparison difficult
- No pricing or rating info included, which could influence buying decision
- Single character focus may not appeal to those wanting variety
Best for: Serious Squishmallows collectors or holiday enthusiasts wanting a sizeable, distinctive plush for display or cuddling.
Not ideal for: Casual buyers or children who prefer a variety pack or smaller plushes for everyday play.
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for collectors or fans seeking a high-quality, sizeable holiday mascot to cherish or display.”
How We Picked
I evaluated these Squishmallows holiday options based on several key criteria relevant to buyers: overall design quality, size variety, price point, holiday theme strength, and exclusivity. I considered how well each plush captures festive spirit, durability, and collectability, along with value for money. Ranking reflects a balance between these factors, favoring items that offer broad appeal—whether as gifts, collectibles, or decorations. Products with high seasonal relevance and unique features received higher scores, while affordability and availability influenced lower-tier placements. This approach ensures the list highlights options suitable for different budgets and preferences, helping buyers find the best fit for their holiday needs.| squishmallows holiday list | Material |

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right Squishmallows for the holidays involves more than just size or appearance. Consider how the plush will be used—whether as a collectible, a gift, or a seasonal decoration—and prioritize features accordingly. Budget is also a key factor; some sets and limited editions command higher prices but offer more unique designs. Durability is important if the plush will be handled frequently or used as a cuddle buddy, while size influences display and gift-giving options. Lastly, availability and timing matter, especially for limited editions that sell out quickly. Keeping these considerations in mind will help you select the best holiday Squishmallows for your needs.Size and Display
Size plays a significant role in how you’ll enjoy your Squishmallow. Larger plushes like the 14-inch Patton are ideal for display on shelves or beds, serving as festive decor or centerpiece pieces. Smaller sizes, such as Micromallows, are perfect for stocking stuffers or for adding variety to a collection without overwhelming space. Consider where you plan to place or gift the plush—size should match your intended use to maximize enjoyment and aesthetic appeal. Remember, larger plushes tend to be more collectible, but they come with a higher price tag and require more storage space.
Theme and Character
Holiday themes vary from classic Santa and elf characters to whimsical winter motifs. Choosing a character that resonates personally or fits with your existing collection can enhance the gifting experience. Limited edition or exclusive characters, like Hedda the Milk for Santa, often have higher collectability but can be harder to find. Conversely, more generic holiday designs may be more versatile and easier to incorporate into everyday décor. Think about whether you want a plush that emphasizes a specific holiday icon or a more general winter theme to match your seasonal vibe.
Price and Value
Budget considerations are key when selecting holiday Squishmallows. Sets like the Micromallows 4-Pack often provide variety at a lower total cost, making them a good choice for families or multiple gift recipients. On the other hand, individual larger plushes or limited editions tend to be more expensive but offer higher craftsmanship and detail. Balance your desire for variety and quality against what you’re willing to spend. Keep an eye out for sales or bundle deals around the holidays, which can make higher-end plushes more accessible.
Limited Editions and Exclusives
Many holiday Squishmallows are released as limited editions or exclusive sets, often through specific retailers or online drops. These items can become highly sought-after collectibles but require quick action to purchase before they sell out. If you’re a collector or want a unique gift, consider buying early or subscribing to retailer alerts. However, be aware that exclusives sometimes come with higher prices and limited resale value, so evaluate if their rarity justifies the extra spend or potential difficulty in acquisition.
Durability and Usability
Seasonal plushes should be sturdy enough for handling, especially if they’re intended as children’s gifts or frequent cuddles. Look for well-stitched seams and quality materials that withstand holiday play or display. Some plushes, particularly those with embellishments or delicate features, may require gentle care or limited handling. If you plan to use your Squishmallow as a decorative piece, durability might be less critical, but for everyday cuddling or gift-giving, investing in higher-quality plushes ensures longevity and satisfaction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows holiday sets suitable for young children?
Yes, most Squishmallows are designed with soft, child-friendly materials and feature no small parts that could pose a choking hazard, making them suitable for young children. Holiday sets, including smaller Micromallows, are especially good as gifts or stocking stuffers for kids, providing cuddly comfort and festive cheer. However, always check the manufacturer’s age recommendations and inspect plushes for any loose stitching or embellishments before gifting to ensure safety. These plushes are generally durable enough for regular cuddling, but gentle handling can help maintain their condition over time.
Should I buy limited edition Squishmallows early or wait for discounts?
Limited edition Squishmallows tend to sell out quickly, especially around the holidays, so buying early is usually the best strategy if you want a specific character or set. Waiting for discounts might mean missing out on the item altogether, as these products are often produced in limited quantities. If budget is a concern, plan ahead and look for pre-sale notifications or early bird deals. Resale prices can also rise as the holiday season approaches, so consider the value of securing your choice now versus waiting for a potential sale later.
Are larger Squishmallows worth the extra cost?
larger Squishmallows, such as the 14-inch or bigger plushes, tend to offer more detail and a more substantial cuddly feel, making them excellent for display or as main holiday gifts. They often come with a higher price point but provide a more premium look and longer-lasting durability. If you’re seeking a plush that can serve as a holiday decoration or a keepsake, the investment can be justified. However, for casual gifting or stocking stuffers, smaller sizes like Micromallows may be more practical and budget-friendly.
What features make a Squishmallow a good holiday collectible?
Features that enhance a Squishmallow’s collectability include limited edition status, exclusive holiday themes, intricate character details, and high-quality materials. Unique packaging or special accessories also add to their appeal. Collectors often prioritize plushes that are part of a series or have significant seasonal relevance. To maximize your collection, focus on items that are officially licensed or part of exclusive releases, but be prepared for premium prices and quick sales due to high demand during the holiday season.
